Encompass Health seeks a transformative Hospital CEO to lead one of its 150+ inpatient rehabilitation facilities. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on oversight of operations, finances, and patient care, grounded in a commitment to compassionate, inclusive care.

The position emphasizes accountability for hospital performance, regulatory compliance, and staff development within a national leader in post-acute care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree with work experience equivalent to a Master's degree and relevant responsibilities.
• Five years of healthcare management experience, with 2–3 years in a Senior Management role.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including potential evenings, nights, weekends.
• May require work on religious and/or legal holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and Joint Commission standards.
• Foster a work environment that empowers hospital staff to surpass objectives.
• Oversee hospital operations and continuously assess performance.
• Take responsibility for patient census and actively market services in the community.
• Promote inclusivity and diversity in the patient environment and workplace.
• Provide motivation and celebrate team achievements.
