Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, seeks a Catering Manager to lead the Catering Department across events, train staff, and supervise setup, service, and breakdown. Focus on quality, cost control, and client satisfaction in a healthcare campus setting.

You will oversee on-site events, coordinate staff, and work with the Chef to craft menus while ensuring delicious, safe, and compliant catering operations. Excellent organizational and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of food service experience including 1 year at the management level.
• Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
• Catering experience and menu creativity is required.
• Knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, and food cost controls.
• Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Supervises catering events, on-site at the CH campus and off-site venues, 350‑800 guest events.
• Coordinates event setup, staffing, and breaks; ensures client satisfaction during events.
• Obtains liquor license to support bar service and manages related compliance.
• Tracks labor and food costs and maintains quality standards for each event.
• Trains associates in service techniques and menu presentation, collaborates with the Chef on menus.
• Maintains strong client relationships through clear communication and service excellence.
