Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT is seeking a Hospital Catering Cook to prepare high‑quality meals for meetings, events, patients, visitors, and caregivers.

You will follow recipes, manage bulk production, and support catering operations while maintaining safety and hospitality standards in a healthcare setting. The role offers 40 hours weekly with day shifts and some evenings/weekends, and uniforms are provided.

Qualifications

  • Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification is required by first day of work (in Utah/Idaho states).
  • Demonstrated ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize safe food handling techniques in all applications.

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of food production duties under general supervision.
  • Prepares and cooks food, serves customers, completes other duties as assigned.
  • Follows recipes and/or instructions in the preparation of food items.
  • Maintains an organized and sanitary working environment.

This includes frequent computer, phone, and cable set-up and use.Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transport, pull, and push equipment. Will also work on hands and knees and bend to set-up, troubleshoot, lift, and carry supplies and equipment.
