Job summary

Intermountain Health in West Valley City, UT is seeking a Cook Floater (PRN) to support multiple facilities. This role prepares and cooks food, serves customers, and handles bulk production, following recipes and instructions to ensure quality meals for patients and staff.

The shift is Monday-Friday 5am-3pm with on-call coverage; prior cook or line cook experience is preferred. A Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification is required by day one.

• Requires Food Handler Permit or ServSafe certification by first day of work.
• One+ year of cook or line cook experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks food and serves customers.

Will also work on hands and knees and bend to set-up, troubleshoot, lift, and carry supplies and equipment.
