Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Tyler, TX is seeking a day shift, full-time Carpenter to support our hospital facilities. This role focuses on maintaining building systems and equipment critical to patient care.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, keep detailed records of inspections and repairs, provide reliable service to staff and patients, and participate in construction or renovation projects as requested to ensure a safe, compliant and welcoming healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5-10 years experience as carpenter and general maintenance work and/or the completion of apprenticeship in the trade.
• Completion of apprenticeship in lieu of above stated experience.
• Must be thoroughly familiar with tools, methods, techniques, equipment and procedures normally associated with trade.
• Comply with regulatory requirements, guidelines, and policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all assigned equipment and systems.
• Maintain records of inspections, testing, repairs and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Provide quality customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Participate in construction and renovation projects as requested.
