Job summary

UT Health Tyler is seeking a day shift, full-time Carpenter in Tyler, TX to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hospital equipment and systems. You will maintain inspection and maintenance records and provide quality customer service while supporting construction and renovation projects.

The role requires a high school diploma and 5–10 years of carpentry and maintenance experience or completion of an apprenticeship in the trade; familiarity with trade tools and safety regulations is

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Five to ten years’ experience as carpenter and general maintenance work and/or the completion of apprenticeship in the trade.
• Completion of apprenticeship in lieu of above stated experience.
• Must be familiar with tools, methods, techniques, equipment and procedures normally associated with the trade.
• Comply with regulatory requirements, guidelines, and policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all assigned equipment and systems.
• Maintain records of inspections, testing, repairs and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
