Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the St Marys Medical Center campus in Duluth, MN. You will perform general maintenance and preventative tasks across hospital facilities and patient care areas.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years of building maintenance training or experience, and a flexible Day/Eve/Night rotation with weekends and holidays. Union SMENG; compensation range $27.77–$35.19 per hour.

Qualifications

• Routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC, fire safety, emergency generators, and patient care equipment.
• May provide emergency repairs and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Must meet the driving requirements and criteria acceptable to Essentia Health’s insurer.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for general maintenance in a medical specialty campus.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems as part of daily operations.
• Respond to emergency repairs and ensure safety and compliance.

Education

2 years of classroom training or 2 years of experience in building maintenance
