This role serves as a central communication link between Carilion Clinic, patients, medical staff, and the public. It involves handling high call volumes in a 24/7 environment, responding to information requests for eight hospitals and 1200 healthcare practitioners. Excellent customer service, decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. Bilingual abilities are a plus.

What We Require:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum three years in customer service, preferably in a call center, physician's office, hospitality, or retail/service industry
  • Other Minimum Qualifications: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment, manage difficult/emotional situations, remain calm under stress, demonstrate empathy, and communicate positively. Strong keyboarding and computer skills are required.
