What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a primary communication link between the employer, patients, medical staff, and the general public
- Manage high call volumes in a 24/7 call center environment
- Respond to information and messaging requests for multiple hospitals and healthcare practitioners
- Provide excellent customer service while addressing patient care-related messaging
- Utilize problem-solving skills to make appropriate decisions in a fast-paced setting
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, such as a call center, physician’s office, hospitality, or retail/service industry
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage difficult situations with empathy and calmness
- Strong keyboarding and computer skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Previous call center experience is preferred
- Experience in a healthcare-related environment is advantageous
