Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Building Systems Technician to oversee daily operation and preventive/corrective maintenance of power plant and HVAC systems at John C. Lincoln Medical Center.

The role involves handling chillers, boilers, pumps, generators, and building systems, with independent work and strong customer communication. Responsibilities include routine inspections, repairs, and ensuring safe, efficient operation while maintaining compliance with codes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or post high school vocational training - Preferred
• Vocational/Specialized Training such as related coursework, seminars or certifications - Preferred
• Electronic controls certification. Technical Institute certificate of completion - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Operates power plant and HVAC systems and documents work in CMMS.
• Repairs, maintains, tests and troubleshoots power plant, HVAC and building systems to ensure reliable service.
• Conducts daily inspections of boilers, pipelines, vessels, meters and gauges.
• Maintains technical expertise to comply with codes and high operational efficiency.
• Responds to customer requests with a high standard of service.
• Assists other staff on projects and maintenance of building systems.
