Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Public Administration or related field, plus 2 years in receivables/payables or related areas, 1 year in supervisory role.
Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years experience in receivables/payables or related areas, 1 year in supervisory role.

Responsibilities

Oversee professional billing operations for H+H Teaching Elective Amendment hospitals.
Manage billing, denials and follow-up activities.
Direct vendors responsible for professional coding and billing.
Ensure timely actions and maintain workqueues.
Monitor denials trends and develop strategies with payers.
Coordinate with Epic systems to automate interventions.
Coordinate with Managed Care on payer rates and denial issues.
