Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Hospital Billing Manager to oversee daily billing functions for hospital revenue cycle operations. You will lead with hands-on management in Epic and MEDITECH environments, ensuring accurate CPT4, HCPCS, and revenue code usage while driving cash and AR resolutions.

This role requires strong leadership, policy adherence under HIPAA, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in healthcare revenue cycle and hospital billing.

Responsibilities

• Leadership / Training in hospital billing operations.
• Billing / Cash Posting / Collections with payer coordination.
• Compliance with state, federal, and HIPAA requirements.
• Reporting: KPI and daily/weekly/monthly dashboards.
• Mentor staff and manage billing teams to ensure accurate CPT4, HCPCS, and revenue codes.
• Collaborate with IT on system changes to ensure billing accuracy.
