Job summary

United Infusion is seeking a Warehouse Technician specializing in hospital bed refurbishment. You will refurbish and repair beds to meet safety and healthcare standards, disassemble and inspect components, and document quality checks.

Responsibilities include maintaining tool and inventory records, coordinating with the team to meet targets, and adhering to safety protocols throughout the refurbishment process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and calibration devices to service medical equipment.
• Must identify, isolate and resolve equipment malfunctions with systematic problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, and inspect hospital beds for defects or malfunctioning components.
• Repair and replace damaged or worn-out parts, including frames, wheels, mattresses, and electrical components.
• Ensure functionality and structural integrity of refurbished beds.
• Apply adjustments to meet safety and ergonomic standards.
• Conduct quality checks to meet company standards and healthcare regulations.
• Test bed features (adjustable height, side railings, braking) for safety and operation.
• Document quality control procedures to maintain refurbishment quality.
• Keep records of inventory levels and restocking needs.
• Coordinate with team to meet refurbishment targets.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE as required.
