Baxter International is seeking a Medical Bed Technician to support hospital environments by ensuring medical devices operate safely and efficiently. The role emphasizes customer service, equipment handling, and light repairs.

Responsibilities include problem solving, data documentation, and collaboration with the team to maintain quality and workflow. The position requires hospital setting mobility and basic troubleshooting, with on‑site work and shift schedule Tue–Sat.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to walk and move equipment in a hospital setting.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Valid COVID-19 vaccination status or a reasonable accommodation if medically or religiously required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in team activities and problem‑solving sessions as required.
• Communicate problems and solutions to the appropriate person.
• Report faulty equipment or unusual conditions to the hiring manager.
• Follow processes and procedures as written.
• Document and chart data to assist with problem identification, quality feedback, and production scheduling.
• Train, teach, and assist other operators to maintain quality and workflow.
• Walk for long periods and move medical products unassisted.
• Conduct daily verification rounds and perform equipment decontamination procedures.
• Assist with tracking and pulling assets due for preventative maintenance.
• Maintain inventory, deliver, retrieve, and coordinate medical gases.
• Diagnose and complete minor repairs to medical products (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or cosmetic).
• Push and pull beds (up to 75lb).
• Adhere to hospital standards and protocols while delivering excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Apply strong analytical and problem‑solving skills in a self‑motivated team environment.

Schedule

Tuesday–Saturday 2:30pm–11:00pm.

Compensation

Base hourly rate: $16.15 – $24.23. Actual rate may vary based on experience, location, and business line.
