Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires BLS certification.
• Master's degree in speech-language pathology.
• Licensed SLP in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans for speech, safety, and functional progress.
• Document evaluations, daily notes, progress updates, and discharge summaries.
• Educate patients and families on goals, safety, home strategies, and progress expectations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, rehab staff, and care managers.
