Job summary

The General Hospital Corporation, part of Mass General Brigham, seeks a Physical Therapist to plan and administer prescribed therapy to restore function and relieve pain. You will supervise PTAs and train new staff, delivering care in outpatient, hospital, or ambulatory settings as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy with Master’s or Doctorate preferred; valid state license and BLS; 1–2 years hospital/rehab experience is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes therapy goals and formulates a treatment plan based on evaluation results.
• Supervises PTAs according to organization policy and state regulations.
• Provides individual, family and group therapy sessions for clients engaged in outpatient therapy
• Participates in the interdisciplinary group for hospice patients and the case conference meetings for home health patients.
• Participates in discharge planning.
• Provides initial assessment of clinical needs using standardized tools and protocols and facilitate recommendations for treatment.
• Records all pertinent data in the patient's medical records.
