Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring a full-time Baker at Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. The shift runs 5:00 am–1:30 pm or 7:00 am–3:30 pm with days varying.

Prior baking experience is required to prepare breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries according to recipes and production specs. You will ensure proper food prep, sanitation, and temperature control, assist with production planning, and help maintain records.

• Previous baking experience required.

Responsibilities

• Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies and other pastries per production sheets.
• Ensure food prep follows approved recipes and production standards.
• Maintain sanitation and proper temperatures for all foods and equipment.
• Complete production records including waste tracking and notes on shortages.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, service-oriented manner and relay concerns to supervisors.
• Keep work area clean and organized; ensure proper presentation and serving temperatures.
