Advocate Health’s High Point Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacist for the Central Pharmacy. The role covers 1st shift with occasional weekend and holiday rotation, working 11:00 AM–7:30 PM or 10:00 AM–6:30 PM, at the High Point campus. The pharmacist provides high-quality pharmaceutical care and oversees medication dispensing to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The position requires a Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy and a current NC license; hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy (BS in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.) is required.
• Current North Carolina pharmacist license in good standing required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience or residency is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Process medication orders and prescriptions from physicians and nurses.
• Supervise technicians to ensure timely and accurate dispensing.
• Deliver pharmaceutical care for optimal patient outcomes.
• Contribute to quality improvement through teamwork.
• Maintain documentation to meet standards and regulations.
• Provide age-appropriate care following guidelines.
