Responsibilities:

Customer Service Reps handle approximately 200 calls daily from patients of doctors at hospitals and clinics. Their tasks include identifying who is on call, retrieving contact information from a database, and triaging calls to the appropriate contact. Key Performance Indicators: 85% of calls answered within 30 seconds.

Scheduling & Shifts:

We operate a 24/7 call center with flexible scheduling within a window. For example, a first shift can start as early as 6:30 am and end by 6 pm, with shifts typically scheduled 3-4 weeks in advance. All shifts require working every Saturday or Sunday. Currently, we are focusing on second shifts (2pm-11pm) requiring working every Saturday, with Sundays and another weekday off. We are open to creating a specific shift for candidates available for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday on a 4x10 schedule.

Training & Attendance:

Training runs from 10:30 am to 6:30/7 pm. Attendance during training is mandatory; missing training results in removal from the class.

Work Location & Requirements:

This is an onsite position in Boston, MA. No free parking is provided for first shift. Candidates with experience in healthcare settings (hospitals, clinics, medical practices) are preferred. Positions are not advertised as call center roles.

  • Bilingual skills (Spanish or Asian dialects) are a plus but not required; bilingual calls are handled via interpreter services

Experience Level: Entry Level

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay range: $21.00 - $23.00/hr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, critical illness, accident, hospital coverage, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation benefits, employee assistance, PTO, and more. Eligibility varies based on employment status and length.
