Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a hospital campus in Greer, SC. You will provide patient, visitor, and staff security, perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and respond to emergencies with professional communication and reliable follow-through.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, adherence to hospital vaccination requirements, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required in the state where the job is located.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation and drug screen required by employment.
• Ability to lift 20+ pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations; follow reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; assist with directions and wayfinding; report hazards and maintenance concerns.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate with leadership, clients, and emergency responders as needed.
