Job summary

Superior Hospice is seeking a compassionate Hospice Visit Nurse (RN) to join our team in Bethel, ME. This part-time role offers autonomy in the field, with support from an experienced leadership team and a path to full-time as patient volume grows.

You will conduct routine hospice visits in patients' homes or care settings, perform assessments, manage symptoms, educate families, and document care in EMR. An active RN license and reliable transportation are required; prior hospice or oncology

• Hospice or end-of-life care experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Provide routine and PRN hospice visits in patients' homes, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing communities.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, symptom management, wound care, and medication education.
• Support patients and families through every stage of the hospice journey.
• Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, hospice aides, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate and timely EMR documentation.

What You'll Bring

• Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Hospice experience preferred, or strong experience in oncology, palliative care, home health, ICU, or end-of-life care .
