Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice, In-Home Euthanasia & Aftercare is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services in the San Francisco area. You will work on the road, visiting families in their homes to offer dignified end-of-life care for their pets.

You will practice independently while receiving mentorship and support from an experienced team. The role offers flexible scheduling options, generous benefits, and a focus on clinician well-being and professional

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree required and licensed to practice in the U.S.
• Ability to provide hospice and in-home euthanasia services.
• Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license and be willing to travel to client homes.
• Licensing verification and background check will be completed before start.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate end-of-life care to pets in home settings.
• Perform in-home euthanasia with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Communicate clearly with families during difficult moments.
• Maintain patient care records and ensure adherence to company protocols.
