Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide in-home hospice and end-of-life euthanasia across San Mateo, Redwood City and surrounding communities. You’ll work on the road, independently but with strong mentorship and support from the team, choosing from 2–5 day schedules and self-managed options.

Guaranteed base salary with generous quarterly bonuses, plus benefits and professional growth opportunities, including 401(k), PTO, CE allowances, and life/loan

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS is required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• Background check and license verification prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home veterinary hospice and euthanasia care.
• Practice compassionate care and clear communication with families.
• Coordinate care and scheduling with pet families while on the road.
