Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice in San Francisco is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide in-home end-of-life care. Work that is meaningful, with time for families, not racing between rooms, practicing medicine on the road in clients' homes.

You’ll be supported with onboarding, mentorship, and flexible schedules, including 5-day, 4-day, or 2–3 day options, with generous bonuses and no non-compete. Requires DVM and US driver's license; license verification and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS credential required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• License verification, background check and driving record review prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home veterinary care on the road, practicing medicine with compassion and autonomy.
• Communicate with grieving families, answer questions, and help families say goodbye with dignity.
• Receive onboarding and mentorship to support professional growth and well-being from day one.
