Job summary

The Elizabeth Hospice in San Diego County and surrounding areas is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide skilled visits and assessments that maximize comfort for patients across the life span in line with TEH standards. This full-time role includes 4/10 hour shifts (Wed-Sat 11:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m.) and on-call coverage, with travel to patient homes and to South Riverside County.

Applicants must hold a CA RN license and CPR certification; bilingual (Spanish) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Holds CA RN license and CPR certification.
• Associates degree required; Bachelor degree preferred.
• Hospice or acute care experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing visits and assessments.
• Respond to triage and schedule patient visits promptly.
• Document care plans and communicate changes to the team.
• Supervise LVN/HA per policy and plan of care.
• Travel to patient homes in San Diego County and South Riverside County.
