Job summary
Amedisys Home Health in Marlborough, MA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time, day-shift role requiring travel to support our 10 MA hospice locations. You may stay and support any location for a day, a week, or longer, with food and hotel stipends and mileage reimbursement provided.
Compensation ranges from $120,000 to $130,000 per year plus comprehensive benefits including medical plans, PTO, wellness rewards, counseling services, a 401(k) with company match, and family
Qualifications
- Three years of RN experience in home health or hospice.
- Current RN license, state(s) you are assigned to work.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial nursing assessments on new admissions.
- Coordinate and revise the total plan of care with continuity of patient care.
- Regularly communicate patient progress to the clinical manager, physician, and care team.
- Educate families on patient condition, needs and care.
- Make referrals to other hospice care disciplines as needed; document rationale.
- On-call responsibilities and on-call services to patients/families as assigned.
