Job summary

Delaware Hospice is seeking a PRN Hospice Transport EMT (BLS Certified) in Milford, DE to provide basic life support and non-emergency medical assistance during patient transport. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, performing medical procedures, and ensuring patient safety during transit.

The ideal candidate will possess BLS Certification, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance and a retirement fund with company contributions.

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required.
• Previous experience in a medical or emergency response role preferred.
• Delaware EMT-Basic certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver patients safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic life support and non-emergency medical assistance during transport.
• Assess patient needs and perform basic medical procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and coordinate with medical staff.
