Job summary

Suncrest Hospice in Ohio is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our patient-care team. You will provide compassionate resident care, perform assessments, and help develop care plans under the direction of a Case Manager.

Work closely with licensed staff to coordinate services, follow all nursing policies, and maintain safety standards. This role offers growth potential, a supportive team, and a competitive hourly rate with benefits.

Qualifications

• Commitment to improving quality of life and community care
• Ability to collaborate with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers and leadership
• Willingness to pursue certifications and continuing education
• Work closely with patients on a 1-1 basis with strong support from the care team
• Able to work independently with day-to-day autonomy
• Must have reliable transportation, valid license and auto insurance
• STNA certification in state(s) of practice
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per assessments and care plans under a Case Manager
• Coordinate care with licensed staff to ensure appropriate services
• Follow company nursing policies, procedures and safety guidelines
• Assist with patient assessments as directed by nursing management
