Shalom Hospice in Knoxville, TN, is seeking a compassionate Hospice Social Worker and Bereavement Coordinator to join our interdisciplinary team. In this dual salaried role, you will provide emotional and psychological support to patients and families and facilitate the bereavement process.

You will assess needs, offer individual and group counseling, lead support groups, collaborate on care plans, educate on end-of-life options, document activities, and contribute to quality improvement

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Tennessee.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to travel within a designated service area.

Responsibilities
