Job summary

Affinity Hospice is seeking an Executive Director to lead daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide strategic initiatives across hospice services.

The role requires strong leadership of clinical and administrative teams, adherence to Medicare/Medicaid and ACHC standards, and a commitment to exceptional patient and family care. You will oversee budgeting, staffing, policy updates, and continuous quality improvement to support organizational growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years hospice management experience.
• Registered Nurse strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must have a good working knowledge of hospice federal and state guidelines (Medicare/Medicaid payor requirements).
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, direct, and motivate professional and administrative personnel.

Responsibilities

• Participates in operational planning and budgeting.
• Ensures that care is in accordance with Medicare, Medicaid, ACHC, Federal and State guidelines.
• Maintains standards of ethical business and clinical practice.
• Demonstrates exceptional service to patients, families, referral sources, co-workers and other customers.
• Monitors business operations to ensure financial stability.
• Oversees and participates in Administrator on-call rotation.
• Monitors progress toward operational and strategic goals.
• Evaluates hospice services and personnel using measurable outcomes and our Performance Improvement program.
