Job summary

Amedisys is hiring a hospice liaison to educate health care professionals, patients and families about home care services in the Dover, Rochester, and Wolfeboro areas. This outside sales role focuses on developing referral sources, coordinating admissions, and meeting admissions and payor-mix goals.

You'll travel 50%+ within the territory, build relationships with hospitals, nursing homes and physician offices, and maintain CRM records.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare business development/outreach.
• Background in cold calling customers in pharmaceuticals, medical device sales, hospital, home health, hospice or long-term care is ideal.
• Reliable transportation with driver's license and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Educates health care professionals, patients, and families about home care services.
• Develops and maintains relationships with key referral sources to generate leads (hospitals, nursing homes, physician offices).
• Coordinates patient admissions with the team and completes referral to admission process.
• Conducts on-site visits to assess patient needs and barriers to care.
• Keeps accurate records of patient interactions and referrals in CRM.
• Meets admissions, product, and payor-mix goals; achieves short and long-term target account goals.
• Documents minimum expectation of sales calls daily in CRM (pre/post call notes).
• Maintains a complete, up-to-date record of targeted referral sources in territory in CRM.
• Attends community events to promote Amedisys and responds to customer complaints as needed.

• Salary: $82,000 - $92,000 plus bonus potential

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a healthcare related business development/outreach role. A bachelors degree is preferred, but not required.
• Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and liability insurance.
