Job summary

Big Bend Hospice seeks an experienced RN Team Manager to lead the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) and manage daily staff utilization. This full-time clinical role includes mentoring IDG members, coordinating care, and ensuring ongoing patient coverage.

The position requires an active Florida RN license (or compact), hospice experience, and strong leadership skills to promote BBH policies and provide superior patient care. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Florida or compact licensure.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum of two years hospice experience.
• Oncology or home health nursing experience with at least one year of acute care.
• Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Primary clinical and administrative resource for the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG).
• Determines the daily utilization of IDG staff.
• Triages clinical calls to IDG members.
• Provides coverage to IDG members as needed based on patient acuity.
• Participates in 24/7 patient care coverage as needed.
• Promotes adherence to BBH policies and procedures.
• Interacts with CQI and team education to improve patient care.
