Job summary

HIA Hospice is seeking an RN to provide nursing care to hospice patients in coordination with the interdisciplinary team (IDG). This PRN position will be based at our Fargo office and serve the surrounding communities, with a starting wage of $34.67 per hour and potential monthly bonuses based on performance.

Requirements include an RN license in North Dakota (and Minnesota or willingness to obtain dual licensure), BSN preferred, 1 year hospital experience or 2 years health care, strong

Qualifications

• RN degree; BSN preferred.
• One year hospital staff nurse experience or two years in health care.
• Strong interpersonal communication, counseling, and teaching skills.
• Flexibility in scheduling; team player.
• Familiarity with principles related to dying and death strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to hospice patients in coordination with the interdisciplinary team (IDG).
• All nursing care, approved by patients' primary physicians or hospice medical director.
• Includes hospice referrals, patient admissions, physical assessments, symptom management and emotional support.
• PRN position based at Fargo office serving surrounding communities.
