Description

This part-time position involves working 12-hour night shifts and traveling to see patients in the Portland Metro and Clark County (Washington) areas.

The Hospice Nurse, under physician direction, completes medical requirements while coordinating a whole-person plan of care. The role is accountable for delivering direct and indirect quality care to patients of all ages, tailored to their individual needs, following the nursing process and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. The position values professional development as an integral part of nursing practice and involves coordinating patient care activities with other healthcare team members in a collegial manner. Upholds standards of confidentiality, attendance, and punctuality.

Required Qualifications
  • Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • Obtain Washington Registered Nurse license within 2 months of hire.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • At least 2 years of medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting, and/or experience in long-term care, home health, or hospice.
  • Experience using electronic medical record software.

Base pay ranges from $50.21 to $70.04 per hour, with potential additional compensation such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, premiums, and bonuses.
