Job summary

Ohio's Hospice seeks a Registered Nurse for the Hospice House/Inpatient Unit in Columbus, OH. You will provide compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals with life-limiting illnesses and support families while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team focused on comfort and dignity.

The role involves assessment, care planning, documentation in the EMR, night shift 6:30 PM–7:00 AM, every third weekend, and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing in Ohio with no disciplinary actions.
• Current CPR certification; CHPN preferred with company support for certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, symptom management and care planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Assess and address patients' physical, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual needs.
• Develop and update individualized plans of care with patients, families, and team.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate updates to physicians for appropriate care.
• Document assessments, interventions, orders, and status in the EMR accurately.
