Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a nonprofit hospice provider in the DFW area to recruit a compassionate Clinical Nurse Liaison (RN) for Hospice & Community Outreach. This full-time role blends clinical assessments with business development and patient advocacy across hospitals, facilities, and homes.

The RN will build referral relationships, coordinate admissions, ensure regulatory compliance (Texas BON), and support quality patient care with the IDT centered on compassionate outreach.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's School of Nursing.
• Current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license; Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a clinical setting required.
• Hospice or home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, and community partners to grow hospice services
• Serve as the primary RN for General Inpatient (GIP) hospital admissions and routine hospice admissions
• Evaluate patients for hospice eligibility in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Develop and execute community outreach initiatives while tracking activity in Salesforce
• Collaborate with Director of Business Development, Chief Nursing Officer, and the IDT to support quality patient care
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including Texas BON standards
• Promote the organization's mission, values, and philosophy
• Perform other duties as assigned
