Job summary

Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, Delaware is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for our inpatient center. The RN will join an interdisciplinary team to deliver hospice services and manage patient care plans, with training provided.

New grads are welcome; hospice/homecare experience not required. Schedule is 7am-7pm with every-other weekend. The Katybug program supports pediatric care at home when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Delaware.
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred/Certification in hospice nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice services to Inpatient Center patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Conduct weekly medical assessments and manage patient care plans.
• Assist with lifting and turning patients following safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and bereavement staff to support patients and families.
