Job summary

Concho Hearts Hospice is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) in Corpus Christi to deliver compassionate hospice care in patients' homes or facilities. This flexible schedule role supports the hospice team and helps families navigate end-of-life care.

You will perform PRN visits, assess conditions, educate families, and document care on a provided tablet, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license.
• Strong assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
• Compassion for patients and families during end-of-life care.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to hospice patients in their homes or facilities.
• Complete PRN visits, admissions, or support visits as needed.
• Assess patient conditions and communicate changes to the care team.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Document visits and care using a company-provided tablet.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team.
