Job summary

Alpha Omega Hospice seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as Clinical Director, leading a diverse team of RNs, Aides, Social Workers and Chaplains in Carrollton. This leadership role partners with the Program Director and Hospice Physician to drive patient-centered care and program growth.

Expect a Monday–Friday schedule, strong clinical oversight, staff development, and adherence to regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• 3 years nursing experience with 1 year hospice/home health/oncology; 1 year supervisory preferred.
• Proficient in EMR and computer use; CPR certification may be required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Champion Comprehensive Patient Support: oversee a spectrum of patient services per hospice policies.
• Empowering Teams: guide and develop a diverse clinical staff.
• Quality Assurance: conduct chart audits to ensure regulatory and ethical compliance.
• Training Excellence: contribute to orientation and ongoing staff training.
• Performance Advancement: assess and mentor staff performance during probation and annually.
• Collaborative Leadership: lead interdisciplinary team meetings to refine Care Plans.
