Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct palliative care to terminally ill patients and support families within an approved plan of care in the Las Vegas area.

The RN will triage emergencies, coordinate with the hospice team, supervise CNA/LPN staff, and ensure timely documentation, meeting compliance and quality standards while delivering compassionate care. Requires Nevada RN license, CPR/First Aid, and availability for on-call hours, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Nevada State Board of Nursing.
• Prefer 1 year of hospice, home health, or geriatric nursing experience.
• Must read, speak, write and understand English.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Available for prescheduled on-call hours, weekends and holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct palliative care within an approved plan of care.
• Triage emergencies in person and by phone and communicate needs to hospice team.
• Supervise and delegate duties to CNAs and LPNs.
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and performance improvement activities.
• Document accurately and timely, follow policies and regulatory requirements.
• Pronounce death when appropriate and coordinate removal procedures.
