Job summary

Sequoia Hospice is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Hospice Care team serving San Mateo County. This position offers $60.00–$70.00 per hour with flexible Full Time, Part Time, and Per Diem options, supporting our mission of compassionate, home-based hospice services.

As an Hospice RN, you will plan, organize, and direct hospice care, conduct patient and family assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate families, and coordinate care for your caseload.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (hospice or home health preferred).
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing patient and family assessments.
• Develop and revise individualized hospice care plans.
• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate and counsel patients and families on hospice care.
• Coordinate care for your assigned caseload.
