Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks an RN Case Manager – Hospice in Roanoke, VA. The position involves managing patient care, symptom management, crisis intervention, and family education, with a focus on rapport-building and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

The role is a 13-week assignment, Monday through Friday, 8:30a-5p, starting 11/16/2026. Virginia nursing licensure and BLS are required, plus 2 years’ relevant nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice nursing by the Virginia State Board of Nursing.
• BLS (AHA).
• Current Virginia driver’s license and driving record that meets policy standards.
• 2 years experience in acute care, home health, hospice, med/surg or geriatric nursing.

Responsibilities

• Ability to manage patient care and provide services requiring specialized bedside nursing skills for symptom management and crisis intervention.
• Develop and maintain rapport with patients and families.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
