Job summary

Comfort Hospice is seeking a dedicated RN in Nevada to provide high-quality hospice care and support to patients and families. You will work with an interdisciplinary team in a patient-centered environment, delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.

The role requires an active Nevada RN license and at least 2 years of nursing experience, with hospice or home health experience preferred. Mileage reimbursement is provided, and on-call duties may apply.

*Pay Range is $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year (depending on experience), plus mileage reimbursement.

What You’ll Do

• Complete comprehensive assessments of patients and families to determine hospice needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, revising as needed
• Provide skilled nursing care, administer medications, and manage symptoms
• Educate patients and families on care techniques, medications, and comfort measures
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate changes to physicians
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement initiatives
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families
• Supervise hospice aides and delegate responsibilities appropriately
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team that shares your commitment to excellence
• Participate in holiday on-call rotation as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Current RN license in the State of Nevada
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, hospice or home health experience preferred
• Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience preferred, not required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle
• Strong clinical skills and a passion for patient-centered care
• Ability to work independently and a passion for making a real difference
