$10K Sign-On Bonus!

As an Administrator, reporting directly to the Assistant Vice President of Operations, you will oversee the daily operations of your hospice location. Responsibilities include managing patient admissions, coordinating ancillary services, supervising staff and volunteers, and maintaining communication with leadership.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate commitment to quality care and service.
  • Apply continuous quality improvement principles daily.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation, licensing, and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • Effectively manage human resources.
  • Maintain positive communication with staff and ensure meetings are conducted and documented.
  • Oversee orientation, training, and continuing education for staff, volunteers, and contractors.
  • Supervise and evaluate interdisciplinary team members.
  • Manage team performance, monitor progress, and redirect efforts as needed.
  • Assign tasks fairly based on staff abilities and workload.
  • Manage office operations efficiently.
  • Plan and organize resources to meet strategic goals.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of services.
  • Supervise patient care quality and handle emergency situations.
  • Participate in routine patient visits and on-call duties (if a Registered Nurse).
  • Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and staff to address issues and needs.
  • Supervise and evaluate family satisfaction surveys.
  • Manage financial resources within budget, including reviewing bills, supplies, expenses, and payroll.

About You

  • Registered Nurse with at least an Associate’s Degree in Nursing; a BSN is preferred.
  • Master’s degree in nursing, business, or related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of one year management or supervisory experience.
  • At least two years of hospice or home care experience.
  • Clinical experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Healthcare sales or management experience is a plus.
  • Current nursing license, CPR certification, valid driver’s license, and insurance are required.
  • Proficient in operating computers, fax, copier, and mobile devices. Reliable transportation is necessary.

Potential titles include RN Branch Director, Hospice Director, Director of Nursing, RN Administrator, among others.

Salary range: $90,745 - $113,430. Compensation varies based on experience, education, location, and other factors. Benefits include health coverage, wellness programs, PTO, disability insurance, HSA contributions, mileage or fleet car programs, cell phone reimbursement, and potential incentives.
