Job summary

Dover Health, part of The Dover Companies, seeks a Hospice RN to deliver compassionate end-of-life care in homes and senior living communities across surrounding counties. You will travel between patient visits, with mileage reimbursement per IRS rates, on a 7 on/7 off schedule from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, have hospice or home health experience, and bring a caring demeanor to support patients and families while collaborating with a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN license to practice nursing in Illinois.
• Hospice or home health experience is preferred.
• Ability to build strong relationships with patients and families.
• Demonstrated compassionate approach to end-of-life care.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice care to patients in homes and senior living communities.
• Assess and manage patient needs, symptoms, and comfort levels.
• Communicate with families and coordinate with care teams.
• Document care plans and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
