Job summary

Care Initiatives Hospice is seeking a compassionate RN to join our team as a Hospice Nurse - RN - 7D on/7D off. In this full-time role, you’ll provide specialized end-of-life care to patients in home, long-term care, assisted living, or hospital settings, prioritizing comfort, dignity, and family support.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of recent clinical nursing experience and current CPR certification.

Qualifications

• RN with a minimum of two years of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Current, valid CPR certification.
• Demonstrated patience and a supportive and sensitive approach to providing patient, family, and caregiver support.
• Willingness and ability to provide care in facility and patient home settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice nursing care in home, LTC, or hospital settings.
• Assess symptoms, manage pain, and titrate medications as needed.
• Educate patients and families on comfort measures and care plans.
• Collaborate with family and care teams to honor patient wishes.
