Job summary

Haven Hospice in Chiefland, FL seeks a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse to join our team. You will provide expert, patient-centered end-of-life care in home-based settings with a strong 1:1 focus and collaborative support from an interdisciplinary team.

This PRN role supports Monday–Friday 8a-5p with at least 2 shifts biweekly and on-call rotation as needed. Haven Hospice offers flexible scheduling, competitive benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure to practice in Florida.
One year nursing experience required; 3+ years preferred.
Experience in hospice or similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess, monitor physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients
Create hospice care plans aligned with patients' wishes and goals
Direct nursing care: administering medications, treatments, and interventions
Provide pain and symptom management
Educate and support patients' families and caregivers
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Participate in on-call rotation as required by local branch
