Job summary

Haven Home Health & Hospice in Springfield, MO is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse to provide skilled in-home end-of-life care in accordance with physician orders. This role suits a nurse passionate about guiding patients to live their final days with dignity, peace, and comfort while supporting families.

The RN will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team, educate families, and ensure compassionate care focusing on quality of life.

Qualifications

• Missouri RN license in good standing.
• Hospice or home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with clinical documentation/computer skills.
• Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments including physical, emotional, and mental needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Educate and support patients and families through end-of-life process
• Provide compassionate care focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs in delivering nursing services
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides skilled nursing services to patients in their homes during the end of life process in accordance with physician orders. This role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about helping patients live their final days with dignity, peace, and comfort while supporting families through every step of the journey.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments including physical, emotional, and mental needs

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse license in good standing
• Preferred minimum of one year nursing experience within the last five years
• Hospice or home health experience preferred

• Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate patient needs
