Job summary

Good Shepherd Community Care is seeking a Hospice Residence Licensed Practical Nurse for our Wayland, MA residence. This role involves direct patient care in a 10-bed hospice setting with a 12-hour night shift from 7 pm to 7 am, 36 hours per week, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Required MA LPN license with 2+ years in community health or related fields; strong teamwork and careful documentation are essential. Competitive benefits accompany full-time employment.

Qualifications

• MA Licensed Practical Nurse (MA) license required.
• At least two years’ experience in community health, long-term care, oncology, or related field preferred.
• Able to work effectively with patients, families, coworkers and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including ongoing assessment, pain management and symptom control per the care plan.
• Notify the Nursing Care Coordinator of significant changes and when physician notification is needed; document care provided.
• Maintain accurate clinical observations and interventions documentation.
• Assist with daily living activities and ensure patient safety.
