Job summary

Anodyne Palliative Services in Chicago is seeking a compassionate RN to provide high-quality hospice care to patients and families. The role requires an Illinois RN license and at least 1 year of hospice experience, with strong knowledge of infection control, sterile processing, and dementia care.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with Illinois license and hospice experience.
• Knowledge of infection control and sterile processing.
• Experience with family counseling and dementia care.
• Ability to lift and assist ambulatory patients.
• Familiarity with medical imaging and DME usage.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice care to patients and families.
• Assess physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor responses.
• Educate patients and families on disease, symptoms, and end-of-life care options.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Document care activities accurately and timely.
